Expressions of Native American lifestyles, artifacts, celebrations homelands and tribal members today.
Featuring the work of renown photographer and artist Marilyn "Angel" Wynn
Marilyn has lived in rural Idaho for over 22 years and has a strong appreciation for back-country landscapes and it's first people.
She travels extensively across the entire United States throughout Indian Country. Through the lens of her camera, she documents the homelands, lifestyles, artifacts, celebrations and tribal members found in Native communities today.
Since 1986 many of her photographs have appeared on front covers and interiors of well known publications such as Time-Life, Simon & Schuster, National Geographic, AAA Travel Magazine, Lucent Books, Disney and Tide-Mark calendars
Native People that choose to pose for her automatically become 50/50 partners in any sales of their images. These people have much invested in their regalia. It would be impossible to capture this rare style of cultural portraiture within their environments without a models willingness. Therefore we become partners in creating these photographic images and partners in any sales.
We invite you to experience the wonderful and diverse work of this gifted artist. Our hope is that at the very least, you will walk away with a new found compassion and acceptance for preserving our colorful American heritage for future generations to come.
